On the dates 14 and 15 October 2021, visits have been organized for the exchange of experiences in the field of livestock with two groups of beneficiary farmers from the municipalities of Kamenica and Lipjan, who have completed professional training in the livestock sector. As well as with the group of young people beneficiaries in the livestock sector from the municipalities of Vushtrri, Skenderaj, and Shtime.
With these beneficiaries Dairy cattle farms were visited, where they had the opportunity to see from close to the breeding method, production capacities, and proper management of farms. Among others: cattle housing systems, the closed system the milking chamber, the lactofreeze chamber, the food mixer, and types of food for cattle, the silage pit, the calf pens, the drying cow facility such as and many other agricultural devices.
This visit is implemented within the framework of the project "Improving employment and opportunities for income generation in rural areas of Kosovo," financed by the donor BfdW from Germany.
