Women and girls face with a range of physical, social, financial, or other barriers to accessing opportunities and services as a result of gender inequality.
GIAGV aims to be a An important network of women and girls to influence change by starting from: self-assessment, their rights to have access to opportunities, resources and influence on the direction of social and economic changes.
IADK will be a facilitator to organize regular monthly meetings and to organize activities to identify the needs, priorities, limitations, and opportunities they take taking rural women into account and effective communication with rural women. It will also supports the GIAGV in identifying their needs and will organize them to express their demands for the necessary changes, through trainings, joint meetings, and study visits.
InDecember 2021, the first meeting was organized informant for women and girls involved in IADK projects about the purpose and opportunities that the planned activities would offer. The participants in the meeting expressed their gratitude for the initiative and plans in the continuous support of women and girls.
In the month February '22, the first regular meeting was organized where all the activities of carried out by GIAGV members in coordination with the staff of IADK, as well as activities have been coordinated for the month of March 2022.
