[NT10]] is committed to increasing the quantity of domestic production and reducing the import of agricultural products. Greenhouse vegetable cultivation offers important opportunities for economic development, especially for small farmers.
Therefore, IADK, together with partner municipalities, has supported 7 farmers from the municipalities of Vushtrri, Rahovec, and Drenas with greenhouses, an area of 200 m2, accompanying inputs (irrigation system, mulching, shading nets, etc.), and seasonal saplings according to the beneficiaries' requests. This support offers opportunities for self-employment and further economic and agricultural development.
This support package also includes advice and training from vegetable growing experts, enabling farmers to practice advanced cultivation methods in their daily work, which lead to higher and higher-quality productivity.
