[NT28]] is conducting professional training with a group of women from the Municipality of Podujeva with the aim of increasing knowledge in the pastry sector.
Alongside the positive opportunities for the development of individuals in this sector, attending accredited professional training is the key to the success of further knowledge development.
The professional trainings attended by the group of women are designed for practical training at 70% and theoretical at 30%.
Candidates attending professional training in the confectionery preparation sector will gain knowledge and skill development, enabling them easier access to employment, and after completing the evaluation phases, they will be awarded certificates that will be verified by the National Qualifications Authority (AKK).
Furthermore, this group of women will be offered the opportunity to apply for a grant that enables them to establish a unit for preparing sweets, so that the knowledge gained during the training can be applied in their business and generate income and employment opportunities for other women as well.
This activity was carried out within the framework of the project "Improving Employment and Opportunities for Income Generation in the Rural Areas of Kosovo," funded by the German donor BfdW.
