On the date 31.05.2023, a certification ceremony was held for 29 candidates from the municipality of Vushtrri, among whom 14 candidates were from the youth group and 15 others were women/men. Within the youth group, 5-day trainings were organized to build capacity on topics such as preparing business plans, farm management, and production techniques. Also, with the group of women and men, initially 5-day trainings were organized to build capacity on topics such as farm management, record-keeping, human rights, decision-making, advocacy methods, and lobbying towards public institutions.
IADK is implementing the project "Empowering Youth and Women from Rural Areas through Inclusion in Agriculture and Food Processing," a three-year project ([NT1]]), supported by the Swiss donor CFD and including the municipality of Vushtrri within the project.
Meanwhile, the distribution of certificates was carried out by the Executive Director of IADK, Mr. Zenel Bunjaku, and the head of the agriculture department of the Vushtrri municipality, Ms. Rabije Zahiti, who congratulated the candidates for their dedication shown during the training. After completing the training, all participating candidates will be given the opportunity to apply for a grant in the agriculture and food processing sector.
