Invitation for informational sessions for registered job seekers and students of agriculture and food technology

Mitrovicë e Jugut dhe Shtime

The organization "Initiative for the Development of Agriculture Kosovo" (IADK]), is implementing the project "Support in Employment of youth and women in rural areas through agricultural development" a two-year project (2020-2022), supported by the European Union Office in Kosovo. The project includes municipalities: South Mitrovica and Shtime, which are co-applicants and partners of of the project.

IADK will organize informational sessions at:

1. The Hall of the South Mitrovica Municipal Assembly on August 17, 2021 from 10:00 AM

2. The Hall of the Shtime Municipal Assembly on August 18, 2021, from 10:00

During the informative session, interested parties will be informed about the project in question and its three components, especially regarding the support for 45 registered job seekers in employment offices in South Mitrovica and Shtime with training in the course "self-employment" by the respective centers for vocational training; support with agricultural grants for 23 out of 45 registered job seekers (4 beneficiaries selected from the previous call will be supported by this call) with grants worth €3,000 euros (self-employment) and €5,000 euros (start-up); and advising 27 beneficiaries of grants in both theoretical and practical terms according to the agricultural sector.

Additionally, interested parties will also be informed about the support for for students of agriculture and food technology from the municipalities of South Mitrovica and additions with training in soft skills and practical work quarterly paid service. In the first call of this project, supported 10 students with practical work (paid) and 10 more will be supported in the second call. Students must be residents of municipalities: South Mitrovica or Additions.
