IADK distributed agricultural equipment and installed greenhouses for the farmers of the Municipality of Lipjan, aiming to increase productivity, improve product quality, and generate income for local beneficiaries.
Within this project, a total of 26 farmers have been supported, 11 of whom have benefited from greenhouses covering 120 m² and irrigation systems with feeding inputs. Various agricultural equipment has been distributed to the other farmers, such as motor cultivators, millers, scythes, trailers, sprayers, plows, and other equipment that help improve efficiency in the vegetable and livestock sectors.
The goal of this project is to facilitate the work of farmers, increase production efficiency, and enable the manufacture of high-quality products. In addition to financial support through grants, the project also offers direct advice to beneficiaries to help them develop the necessary skills to optimally use the donated equipment.
This cooperation is part of the project "Empowering Rural Communities through Agricultural Development," funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and represented by the Swedish Embassy in Kosovo. The project funds are managed by the Danish Refugee Council, while its implementation will be carried out by the Kosovo Agricultural Development Initiative ([NT1]]).
