On February 14, 2025, the Business-to-Business (B2B) meeting was held at IADK, aiming to strengthen partnerships in the vegetable sector. This meeting was attended by local vegetable farmers, suppliers of agricultural inputs, and representatives from vegetable collection and processing companies.
During the meeting, experiences and ideas were exchanged on increasing farmers' representation, strengthening the supply chain, and improving cooperation. Mr. Besim Sahiti from Agropharma presented innovations in agricultural inputs, including crystalline fertilizers, high-yield hybrids, and disease-protective preparations. Mr. Fehim Rexhepi from Agrocelina offered opportunities to contract the cultivation of cucumbers, peppers, and belders, finalizing agreements with several farmers. The Dioren representative, Mr. Arsim Gashi, shared information about quality standards for raw materials for preservation, while Mr. Mexhit Hasani from Sofra emphasized the requirements for vegetable processing.
This meeting highlighted the importance of adopting advanced agricultural practices, increasing supply chain efficiency, and empowering local products in national and international markets. The cooperation established during the event is expected to have a positive impact on the sustainable development of agriculture in Kosovo
