IADK has signed cooperation agreements with three well-known decorative plant companies: "Buqaj Garden," "Labi Garden," and "Orchidea Flower." This collaboration aims to create new seasonal employment opportunities, offer professional training for participants, and support local suppliers, directly impacting the empowerment of rural communities in Kosovo.
One of the main goals of this project is to identify and support Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian groups, as well as minorities and other marginalized groups. These groups will have the opportunity to benefit from seasonal engagements and specialized training, becoming better qualified for the labor market and having easier access to new economic resources. This is an important step towards improving economic opportunities and social integration for rural communities in Kosovo!
This cooperation was carried out within the framework of the project "Empowering Rural Communities through Agricultural Development," funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and represented by the Embassy of Sweden in Pristina. The project funds are managed by the Danish Refugee Council, while its implementation will be carried out by the Kosovo Agriculture Development Initiative (IADK).
