On March 13, 2025, IADK signed a cooperation agreement with the company Visar Vokrri B.I. from the village of Sveqel, Podujeva, to strengthen the agricultural sector and economic growth. This partnership aims to provide seasonal employment opportunities, professional training and support for local suppliers, positively impacting rural communities in Kosovo.

During this year, IADK will strengthen the partnership with the company, which is focused on improving greenhouse vegetable production technologies and promoting local products. This cooperation also aims to provide opportunities for the integration of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities into the labor market. The initiative will contribute to increasing incomes for local farmers and the sustainable development of the agricultural economy, creating better opportunities for social and economic inclusion.

This cooperation is realized in the framework of the project "Empowering Rural Communities through Agricultural Development", funded by the Swedish Agency for Development and International Cooperation (SIDA) and represented by the Embassy of Sweden in Pristina. Project funds are managed by the Danish Refugee Council, while they are realized by the Initiative for the Development of Agriculture in Kosovo (IADK).
