IADK has signed this cooperation with three well-known decorative plants companies: "Lulishtja Buqaj", "Lulishtja Labi" and "Orchidea Flower". This aims to create new seasonal employment opportunities, provide professional training for jobs and support local suppliers, thereby influencing the empowerment of rural communities in Kosovo.

One of the main goals of the project is to identify and support Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian groups, as well as minorities and other marginalized groups. These groups will have the opportunity to have access to seasonal and school training, being trained for work and having the opportunity to have new economic resources. This is a good step to improve economic opportunities and social integration for rural communities in Kosovo!

This cooperation is realized in the framework of the project "Empowering Rural Communities through Agricultural Development", funded by the Swedish Agency for Development and International Cooperation (Sida) and funded by the Swedish Embassy in Kosovo. Project funds are managed by the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), while they are realized by the Initiative for the Development of Agriculture in Kosovo (IADK).
