B2B Meeting for Enhancing Cooperation in the Vegetable Sector in Kosovo!

On February 14, 2025, IADK hosted a Business-to-Business (B2B) meeting aimed at strengthening partnerships in the vegetable sector. The event brought together local vegetable farmers, agricultural input suppliers, and representatives from collection and processing companies

.During the meeting, participants exchanged experiences and ideas on improving farmer representation, strengthening the supply chain, and enhancing collaboration. Mr. Besim Sahiti from Agropharma presented innovations in agricultural inputs, including crystalline fertilizers, high-yield hybrids, and disease protection treatments. Mr. Fehim Rexhepi from Agrocelina introduced contract farming opportunities for cucumbers, peppers, and chili peppers, resulting in agreements with several farmers. Mr. Arsim Gashi, representing Dioren, shared insights on quality standards for raw materials used in preservation, while Mr. Mexhit Hasani from Sofra emphasized the requirements for vegetable processing.

This meeting highlighted the importance of adopting advanced agricultural practices, increasing supply chain efficiency, and enhancing the positioning of local products in national and international markets. The partnerships formed during the event are expected to have a positive impact on the sustainable development of agriculture in Kosovo.
