IADK has formalized a cooperation agreement with the Municipality of Obiliq on date 30.01.2025 to promote agricultural growth and economic empowerment. The partnership aims to create new opportunities for income generation, employment and sustainable community development.

For a period of one year, IADK will strengthen cooperation with the Municipality of Obiliq, focusing on impactful initiatives that support marginalized communities. Special attention will be paid to the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian groups, ensuring greater access to employment opportunities and promoting their economic inclusion. Under the agreement, grant recipients will have the opportunity to attend training and receive professional advice on improving agricultural practices.

This cooperation is realized in the framework of the project "Empowering Rural Communities through Agricultural Development", funded by the Swedish Agency for Development and International Cooperation (Sida) and funded by the Swedish Embassy in Kosovo. Project funds are managed by the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), while they are realized by the Initiative for the Development of Agriculture in Kosovo (IADK).
