Distribution of Agricultural Equipment and Greenhouse Installation in the Municipality of Lipjan
IADK has distributed agricultural equipment and carried out the installation of greenhouses for farmers in the Municipality of Lipjan, aiming to increase productivity, improve product quality, and generate income for local beneficiaries.
As part of this project, a total of 26 farmers have been supported, with 11 of them receiving greenhouses covering an area of 120 m² and irrigation systems with drip inputs. For the other farmers, various agricultural equipment has been distributed, including: motokart cultivators, plows, mowers, trailers, sprayers, plows, and other tools designed to improve efficiency in the vegetable farming and livestock sectors.
The goal of this project is to ease the work of farmers, increase production efficiency, and enable the production of high-quality products. In addition to financial support through grants, the project also offers direct advice to beneficiaries to help them develop the necessary skills to use the distributed equipment optimally.
This cooperation is part of the project "Empowering rural communities through the development of agriculture", financed by the Swedish Agency for International Development and Cooperation (Sida) and represented by the Swedish Embassy in Kosovo. The project funds are managed by the Danish Refugee Council, while its implementation will be done by the Initiative for the Development of Agriculture in Kosovo (IADK).
