On May 10, 2024, vegetable seedlings were distributed to 17 farmers who received grants for the construction of greenhouses for growing vegetables. The built greenhouses have an area of 176 m², and are accompanied by other inputs and vegetable seedlings. Beneficiaries of the greenhouses are farmers from the municipality of Vushtrri, Skenderaj and Drenas, for whom direct training and advice will be provided by IADK experts throughout the vegetation, as well as study visits in order to exchange experiences with other farmers. advanced in Kosovo. This support will affect the income generation of farmers and improve the economic condition of their families in the rural areas where they live.

The construction of the greenhouses was carried out within the project "Improving Employment and Income Generation Opportunities in Rural Areas of Kosovo" financed by the Bread for the World Donor (BftW) from Germany and co-financed by the partner municipalities.
