Today, on 17.01.2024, the inauguration ceremony of the unit for the preparation of "Dea's Cakes" cakes was held at the beneficiary Vlora Mexhuani from the Municipality of Podujeva. This support was achieved after the successful completion of professional training in the confectionery sector carried out by the IADK organization.
Dea's Cakes has been supported with a grant worth €9,000 with all the necessary professional equipment, with which it will be able to prepare quality, safe products with a high production capacity.
Mrs. Vlora Mexhuani has expressed a special thanks to the IADK organization and the Municipality of Podujeva for the support provided, and has expressed that she is already fulfilled that she has managed to realize the dream she has always had in opening an individual business, where she will dedicates herself to the growth and development of the business and to the employment of other women.
The Mayor of the Municipality, Mr. Bulliqi, and the Executive Director of IADK, Mr. Bunjaku, during the ceremony, expressed their willingness to continue the projects that have a special focus on women and girls, where they will be able to advance professionally in different sectors. food processing and vocational training.
This activity was carried out within the project "Improving employment and opportunities for income generation in rural areas of Kosovo" supported by the German donor "Brot für die Welt" in cooperation with the Municipality of Podujeva.
