STUDY VISIT FOR EXCHANGE OF EXPERIENCES WITH BENEFICIARIES FROM THE VEGETABLE SECTOR.
Within the framework of the project "Strengthening the value chain through skills development programme" financed by GIZ, IADK has organized 4 study visits for the beneficiaries of the project in the vegetable sector in order to further advance the knowledge of vegetable cultivation techniques.
4 groups of farmers from Lipjani, Mitrovica, Prishtina, Skenderaj, Rahovec, Obiliq, Vushtrri and Podujevë participated in this visit. A total of 44 beneficiaries had the opportunity to share their experiences with each other, as well as to get to know the experiences of the two businesses "Agro Buli L.L.C." ", "Fidanishtja Godanci" from the municipality of Shtimje and farmers from Krusha e Madhe Mr. Kujtim Hoti, who are distinguished in the cultivation of vegetables in greenhouses.
The beneficiaries had the opportunity to learn more about the experience and knowledge of these farmers who explained in detail all the work required during the cultivation of vegetables in greenhouses, about the challenges that can be presented in the management of diseases and pests, about the importance of determining the right hybrids to be used for cultivation depending on market requirements and their resistance to diseases and transport.
