In order to create opportunities for generating income from agricultural activities, IADK has supported 10 beneficiaries for the establishment of orchards with strawberries in the municipality of Suhareka.
The support package includes the supply of strawberry seedlings, the irrigation system and black foil, for the establishment of orchards with an area of 1500 m². Beneficiaries, in addition to direct support with seedlings and follow-up inputs, are also supported with professional assistance for all the techniques of strawberry cultivation in order to achieve the highest possible results during the cultivation of strawberries.
This activity was carried out within the project "Improving the employment and income generation opportunities in rural areas in Kosovo", financed by the donor BfdW from Germany and co-financed by the municipality of Suhareka.
