The production of agricultural crops in the right quantity and quality necessitates careful usage of fertilisers. Therefore, as part of the activity Technical Support for Agriculture in Kosovo, the IWRM-K programme, in collaboration with partners IADK and EPI Centar, provided practical training for 50 grant beneficiaries from the second cycle on the issue of rational fertiliser use on apple (17 beneficiaries) and raspberry (33 beneficiaries).

This training supports farmers to enhance their knowledge and skills regarding the effective and appropriate use of fertilisers according to recommendations, assisting them in properly using the fertiliser - venture supported by the programme, reducing rates of use and unnecessary expenses. As well, the training help farmers to reduce pollution of rivers and water flows caused by uncontrolled fertiliser use.
