On August 31, 2025, a study visit was held to exchange experiences with greenhouse beneficiaries, with the aim of further advancing knowledge about vegetable cultivation techniques.
This visit was attended by 9 greenhouse beneficiaries from the municipality of Vushtrri, who were first introduced to cultivation practices in the IADK demonstration greenhouse, as well as the investments that have been made in this greenhouse in terms of digitalization of the greenhouse irrigation and ventilation system, and adaptations to climate change.
Then, the farmer Selim Kosumi from the municipality of Vushtrri was visited, who cultivated vegetables (tomatoes and cucumbers) in a greenhouse with an area of 0.40 ha, and during the visit he shared all his successful experience in cultivating vegetables, including soil preparation, types of fertilizers used, types of cultivated vegetable hybrids, planting and measures of vegetable care.
The second visit was made to the farmer Vehbi Gashi in the municipality of Mitrovica, who also shared his experiences in cultivating vegetables, especially in planting, cultivating, producing and marketing green salad.
The visits carried out during this day have motivated the beneficiaries to be even more dedicated to their activity in greenhouses, and they have also exchanged their experiences in cultivating vegetables in greenhouses obtained through the project.
