May 30, 2025 – A Day to Remember and Reflect 

With great pride, emotion and humility, the  Initiative for Agricultural Development of Kosovo (IADK) marked the 20th anniversary of its establishment – ​​an extraordinary journey full of commitment to empowering farmers, rural development and building a sustainable agriculture in Kosovo.
The event was held in a warm and meaningful atmosphere, where we celebrated together with representatives of local institutions, international partners, loyal donors, beneficiary farmers, agronomists, IADK staff and numerous collaborators who have been part of this journey full of challenges and successes.
The ceremony was opened by the founder and executive director of IADK, Mr. Zenel Bunjaku, with a deep and emotional speech, sharing memories from the beginnings of the organization, the challenges faced and the achievements built with passion, sacrifice and love for agriculture.
With deep gratitude, he thanked: Donors, for their unwavering trust and support, Partners, for their sustainable cooperation, Public institutions, for their cooperation and co-financing, Farmers and beneficiaries, who have inspired us every day, IADK staff, for their dedication to every project
Welcoming speeches were also given by:
– Mr. Shyqyri Hyseni, Chairman of the IADK Board
– Ms. Hava Mlinaku, Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Vushtrri
– Mr. Mustafa Kastrati, representative from GIZ
– Ms. Antigona Dajakaj, representative of FRIEDA
– Mr. Valon Vitia, representative from DRC
Everyone emphasized the role and concrete impact of IADK in the development of agriculture, sustainable food production and the promotion of agrotourism in rural areas of Kosovo.
At the end of the event, symbolic gratitude was shared for donors, staff, collaborators and former female beneficiaries – as a sign of heartfelt thanks to all those who have contributed to this journey with heart and vision
The event concluded with music, beautiful memories and a friendly lunch, where all those present had the opportunity to share stories, experiences and sincere hugs.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been and continues to be part of the IADK family! 
Together we have built a lot – and the future invites us to dream and work even harder for a better, fairer and more sustainable agriculture.
