IADK Certifies 12 Women from Vushtrri Municipality in the "Confectioner" Training Program
On May 16, 2025, a certification ceremony was held for 12 women who completed the "Confectioner" training program, organized as part of the professional development initiatives by IADK.
The participants come from the village of Prilluzhë in the Municipality of Vushtrri and belong to non-majority communities. After successfully completing the training, they were awarded certificates as recognition of the skills they gained in confectionery preparation.
The certificates were distributed by the Executive Director of IADK, along with the trainer involved in the module and members of the project team.
This program aims to empower women from non-majority communities by enhancing their professional skills and creating opportunities for self-employment and local economic development.
This collaboration is part of the project "Empowering Rural Communities through Agricultural Development," funded by the Swedish Agency for Development and International Cooperation (SIDA) and represented by the Swedish Embassy in Kosovo. The project funds are managed by the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), while its implementation is carried out by the Initiative for the Development of Agriculture in Kosovo (IADK).
