IADK Supports Farmers in Gracanicë/Gračanica with Modern Equipment and Practical Training
Agriculture and rural development remain important sources of income for minority communities and marginalized groups in Kosovo. As part of efforts for sustainable development, IADK has supported 9 farmers in the Municipality of Graçanicë/Gračanica with modern equipment and professional training.
Through this support:
✅ 7 farmers benefited from agricultural equipment to increase efficiency;
✅ 1 farmer was supported with a 120m² greenhouse, modern irrigation system and related inputs;
✅ 1 farmer was supported with equipment in the beekeeping sector.
The beneficiaries will also receive practical training, providing them with knowledge for the most efficient use of the equipment and for a sustainable development of their farms.
This collaboration is part of the project "Empowering Rural Communities through Agricultural Development," funded by the Swedish Agency for Development and International Cooperation (SIDA) and represented by the Swedish Embassy in Kosovo. The project funds are managed by the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), while its implementation will be carried out by the Initiative for the Development of Agriculture in Kosovo (IADK).
