IADK Empowers 26 Farmers through Agricultural Support in Obiliq and Gracanicë
IADK, in cooperation with the municipalities of Obiliq and Graçanicë, has signed contracts with 26 beneficiaries (17 in Obiliq and 9 in Graçanicë), aiming to strengthen agricultural and economic activity in these regions.
This support aims to create sustainable income and provide self-employment opportunities for beneficiaries, by providing them with essential agricultural equipment. The assistance package includes greenhouses, modern mechanization, as well as livestock and beekeeping tools, helping farmers increase the productivity and quality of their products.
A particular focus of this program is support for the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian groups, as well as minorities and marginalized groups, by offering them greater opportunities for development and integration in the agricultural sector.
This collaboration is part of the project "Empowering Rural Communities through Agricultural Development," funded by the Swedish Agency for Development and International Cooperation (SIDA) and represented by the Swedish Embassy in Kosovo. The project funds are managed by the Danish Refugee Council, while its implementation will be carried out by the Initiative for the Development of Agriculture in Kosovo (IADK).
